Delta The Leo steps into her next form with “Messi Wa Lekompo”, which is one of the singles from her 10-track EP released on 27 March 2026, featuring the incredible vocalist QueenThee Vocalist, produced by Venda’s pride TallexQ.

Born from the soil of Limpopo and carried through the spirit of Lekompo, the project is Delta in her truest element: shape-shifting, fearless, and deeply connected to her roots. Moving between rap and melody in Sepedi, she doesn’t just ride on the beat — she becomes it.

At its core, “Messi Wa Lekompo” is about timing, hunger, and knowing exactly who you are — even when the world is still catching up — a celebration of Limpopo, of language, and of the essence of South African culture. Through striking lyricism, Delta says, “Go easy, ‘cause the journey is long. Rush it, and you’ll get hurt. They call me Messi of Lekompo, but you don’t even know. On the beat, I’m a sniper — I’m that big.”

When the beat drops, your body will answer before your mind does. Messi Wa Lekompo is a song you don’t just hear — you live in it. It gives you the spirit of Limpopo and a sense of excitement.

The name “Messi Wa Lekompo” wasn’t chosen — it was given to her during a studio session with the producers TallexQ and Elvirgo, as Delta delivered her bars on the mic so creatively. And it stuck.

The single is a reflection of discipline, of falling and rising, of staying in the fight long enough to become the masterpiece. “All my life I had to fight,” she shares. “Nothing was handed to me. This is what it feels like to create without limits.”

From Limpopo to the world stage, Delta The Leo is not asking for space. She’s taking it.

And she’s not moving alone.

Don’t go anywhere.
