Three-time GRAMMY®️ Award-winning flautist, producer and composer Wouter Kellerman joins forces with GRAMMY®️-nominated composer and sonic storyteller David Arkenstone alongside acclaimed South African vocalist Mbuso Khoza to unveil Ungana, the powerful lead single from the forthcoming immersive project, Pangaea Immersive Realms.

Credited as Wouter Kellerman, David Arkenstone feat. Mbuso Khoza, Ungana offers listeners the first glimpse into a deeply cinematic and emotionally expansive musical world rooted in unity, imagination and shared human connection. Pulsing with rhythmic energy and rich sonic textures, the song blends African musical traditions with sweeping orchestration and contemporary global soundscapes.

At the heart of the song is Mbuso Khoza’s evocative vocal performance, bringing emotional depth and cultural authenticity through his powerful traditional African chants. Meaning “unite” or “come together,” Ungana embodies the central message of the project, harmony, togetherness and humanity’s enduring connection across cultures and borders.

David and I created the album together by blending our musical worlds and storytelling approaches,” says Kellerman. “For ‘Ungana,’ we invited Mbuso Khoza to add his incredibly evocative vocals, and he brought a whole new dimension to the piece with his deeply emotive traditional African chants.”

Pangaea Immersive Realms evolves from Kellerman and Arkenstone’s acclaimed 2021 release Pangaea, reimagined through immersive audio to create a multidimensional listening experience. Inspired by the ancient supercontinent before geographical separation, the project paints an expansive musical vision of unity and coexistence.

I have been in close contact with Morten Lindberg, one of the top immersive engineers in the world, for many years, and I have a lot of respect for both his immersive engineering skills and musical artistry,” Kellerman explains. “I was very excited when the stars finally aligned for us to work together.”

Kellerman describes Pangaea as “some of my best work, and probably my most cinematic album,” making it the natural choice for an immersive reinterpretation.

The title Immersive Realms reflects the project’s emotional and sonic ambition, transporting listeners through vivid landscapes and worlds of fantasy where imagination, sound and emotion converge. Through cutting-edge immersive sound design, layered instrumentation and cinematic composition, the music surrounds the listener in an experience that feels both intimate and expansive.

It takes listeners on a deeply cinematic journey into a beautiful world filled with colour, wonder and fantasy,” says Kellerman. “The immersive format allows the music to surround the listener in a way that feels both expansive and intimate.

More than an album, Pangaea Immersive Realms is a celebration of connection, peace and shared humanity. Across each composition, listeners are invited into an uplifting sonic space that transcends borders and encourages reflection, harmony and emotional connection.

I hope listeners feel the positive energy we’re trying to send into the world,” Kellerman adds, “and that the music brings a sense of harmony, peace and togetherness to their day.

Ungana by Wouter Kellerman, David Arkenstone feat. Mbuso Khoza is now available on all major streaming platforms, with Pangaea Immersive Realms is set for release on 5 June 2026 across all major streaming platforms.
