South African trio of musicians namely Wouter Kellerman, Nomcebo Zikode and Zakes Bantwini walked away as big winners at the Grammy Awards 2023 ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. with an award for Best Global Music Performance award for their hit "Bayethe.On

"Were coming from Africa, South Africa. This momen tright her to anybody whose in africa just proves and affirms that every dream is valid", those were the opening words that came from Zakes Bantwini on his speech after receiving the Grammy, he also gave a message to every child in the GHetto and village that they must know that its possible.

Nomcebo dressed in an elegantly exquisite dress designed by local designer Gert Coutzee sang the chorus of her global smash hit Jerusalema as she thanked everybody who has supported her along her journey.

The trio won this award in a heavily contested category against Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.

This was a second grammy for Wouter Kellerman and both Nomcebo and Zakes were first time winners on the night.
