Hitmaker Musician and choreographer Bongekile Simelane ‘aka’ Babes Wodumo as she is affectionately known by her adoring fans took to her Twitter to share how she spent her Valentine’s Day this year.
The Muso lost her husband, fellow musician and business partner Mampintsha due to complications after a stroke on the 24th of December 2022. The couple displayed their relationship and its dynamics to their audience on their reality show “Uthando Lodumo” which was already on the second season on Showmax as proof to how much South Africans loved the reality series.
Babes and Mampintsha tied the knot in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony in October 2021 which trended all over social media, fans also got to see the wedding on their TV screens. Babes later gave birth to a baby boy who South Africans affectionately refer to as “Sponge”. The couple was by no means an ordinary one with both of them possessing their own star quality and power having made mega hits and being featured in an international movie soundtrack for the movie “Black Panther” alongside artists such as Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar.
“Wow after so many years this is the first Valentine's Day without you sthandwa sam. Today women out there are celebrating with loved ones, but me being here today makes it different from others. I forever cherish days we shared together. Ngyazi ujabulile ukungbona,”…
